Dr. Michele D. Solarte is a board-certified ophthalmologist who cares for patients at The Princeton Eye Group in central New Jersey. Raised in the Philadelphia area, she studied Biology and Medical Anthropology at Washington University in St. Louis, graduating magna cum laude before earning her medical degree from Jefferson Medical College, where she was inducted into the Hobart Amory Hare Medical Honors Society. She went on to complete a transitional year internship at Crozer Chester Medical Center followed by an ophthalmology residency at the renowned Wills Eye Hospital. Dr. Solarte provides comprehensive eye care and advanced cataract surgery, drawing on her strong academic and clinical background to guide patients through diagnosis and treatment. She is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and has contributed to the medical literature through research publications and national presentations. Dr. Russell J. Marchese is a comprehensive ophthalmologist and cataract surgeon at Coastal Jersey Eye Center. He provides both routine and complex eye care, with a special focus on cataract surgery and customized lens implants to address astigmatism and near-vision needs. Dr. Marchese earned his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine and completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Rochester. He enjoys helping patients understand their options in straightforward language and building plans that fit their daily activities, from driving confidence to reading comfort.
