Dr. Randall Goodman

Dr. Randall Goodman is an ophthalmologist specializing in medical and surgical treatments of eye disease. He focuses on performing state-of-the-art cataract, laser, glaucoma, refractive, and eyelid plastic surgery. Dr. Goodman is board-certified and practices at Shepard Eye Center in Santa Maria and Lompoc.

He received his medical degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine and completed his ophthalmology residency at Wilford Hall Air Force Medical Center and Brooke Army Medical Center. Prior to joining Shepard Eye Center in 2005, he served as Chief of Ophthalmology at the United States Air Force and Veteran’s Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Dr. Goodman is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He is recognized as an award-winning writer, teacher, and researcher, and has participated in surgical mission trips to Mexico, Honduras, and Nicaragua.
