Dr. Ramesh Ayyala is a world-renowned ophthalmologist who serves as Professor and Chair of Ophthalmology at the University of South Florida, where he also holds the James P. and Heather Gills Chair in Ophthalmology. He is board certified on three continents and brings extensive experience in managing complex eye conditions, with subspecialty training in glaucoma and cornea diseases. Dr. Ayyala is known for his compassionate approach and dedication to teaching, having previously directed the glaucoma service and residency program at Tulane University.
