Dr. Abayomi Fabunmi

Dr. Abayomi Fabunmi is a board-certified, fellowship-trained ophthalmologist who specializes in the treatment of adult glaucoma and cataracts. He focuses on helping patients protect their vision with clear explanations, careful monitoring, and a plan that matches the severity of disease and each person’s daily needs.

He completed medical school at Meharry Medical College and went on to ophthalmology residency training at Case Western Reserve University/University Hospitals of Cleveland, where he also cared for veterans at the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center. Dr. Fabunmi then completed a glaucoma fellowship at the Dean McGee Eye Institute, gaining extensive clinical and surgical experience, including rare and uncommon forms of glaucoma. He offers a full spectrum of glaucoma options—from minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) to traditional procedures—alongside complex cataract surgery when needed.
