Dr. Polly A. Henderson is an ophthalmologist who specializes in glaucoma and cataract surgery. She also manages and treats a wide range of general ophthalmologic disorders. Dr. Henderson brings a unique perspective to her practice, having initially worked as a chemical engineer before pursuing a second career in medicine to solve problems on a more personal level.

She is a member of the Ophthalmology Department at Kaiser Permanente, where she practices a team-based approach to patient care. Dr. Henderson believes in presenting patients with the facts about their specific ocular issues and working together to decide on a treatment plan. She particularly values the long-term relationships she develops with her glaucoma patients, whom she often sees several times a year.

Dr. Henderson is dedicated to helping people retain the gift of sight and enjoys the opportunity to care for Kaiser Permanente members. Outside of her practice, she stays active by working out regularly, reading, and spending time with her family.
