Dr. Peter Zacharia

Dr. Peter T. Zacharia completed his residency training in ophthalmology and a subspecialty fellowship in glaucoma before joining the faculty of the University of Massachusetts, Department of Ophthalmology. He later gained international experience as a glaucoma specialist at the King Khaled Eye Specialist Hospital in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. After practicing in West Virginia, he was recruited to join a practice in Worcester, Massachusetts, which he took over and renamed Worcester Eye Consultants.

Dr. Zacharia has a subspecialty interest in the diagnosis and medical and surgical treatment of glaucoma. He performs cataract surgery, glaucoma surgical procedures, and other surgeries involving lens implants. He is also involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellow ophthalmologists.
