Dr. Peter Knowlton

Dr. Peter Knowlton, MD, is a board-certified ophthalmologist and ophthalmic surgeon specializing in comprehensive eye care. He focuses on advanced procedures such as cataract surgery, glaucoma treatment and surgery, laser interventions, and the management of age-related macular degeneration and diabetic eye conditions. His expertise ensures that patients receive precise and effective care for a wide range of ocular health issues.

Dr. Knowlton built his medical foundation with a Bachelor of Science in biology from Duke University. He then earned his medical degree from Vanderbilt University of Medicine. His postgraduate training included an internship at the University of Pittsburgh, Mercy Hospital, followed by a residency in ophthalmology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, equipping him with extensive clinical and surgical skills.
