Dr. Peter Cornell

Dr. Peter Cornell is a board-certified ophthalmologist who has been in private practice in Beverly Hills for over 25 years. He specializes in cataract surgery, refractive cataract surgery, and LASIK, and is known for his expertise in advanced surgical techniques. Dr. Cornell was the first ophthalmologist in Los Angeles to perform femtosecond laser-assisted cataract surgery in 2011, and he has performed thousands of procedures including small incision cataract surgery with intraocular lens implants, ICL procedures, and glaucoma and eyelid surgery.

Dr. Cornell is committed to providing the best ophthalmic care by staying at the forefront of refractive surgery, laser vision correction, and cataract surgery. He regularly attends major courses and international meetings to ensure his patients have access to the most advanced procedures and technology. He also teaches cataract surgery techniques to residents at UCLA, where he served as an associate clinical professor for many years.
