Dr. Andrew Caster

Dr. Andrew Caster is a laser eye surgeon who has dedicated his practice exclusively to LASIK and all variations of laser vision correction. He is one of the few super-specialists in the United States in this field, having performed over 30,000 procedures. Dr. Caster was one of the twenty doctors who performed the initial laser vision correction treatments evaluated by the FDA for its approval of LASIK in the 1990s. He has treated many world-class professional athletes, including NBA champions, NFL players, and World Cup soccer stars.

Dr. Caster completed his pre-medical education at Harvard and earned his medical degree from Harvard Medical School. He then completed his eye surgery residency at the UCLA Jules Stein Eye Institute. Having experienced vision problems himself, Dr. Caster underwent LASIK surgery in 1996 and understands the life-changing benefits of the procedure from both a doctor's and patient's perspective.

Dr. Caster has been recognized as the "Best Laser Eye Surgeon in LA" by Los Angeles Magazine and was selected as one of two top eye surgeons in the United States by W Magazine. He is also the author of the book "LASIK: The Eye Laser Miracle," which is now in its fifth edition and is the most widely-read book in the United States on laser vision correction.
