Dr. Peter Freeman

Dr. David Freeman is an ophthalmologist at Reno Eye Institute who decided to become a doctor at the early age of six. A Reno native, he graduated from McQueen High School and attended the University of Nevada, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in biology followed by his Medical Degree from the University of Nevada School of Medicine.

Dr. Freeman completed his internship in internal medicine at Exempla Saint Joseph Hospital and his ophthalmology residency at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. He served as a comprehensive ophthalmologist at the Veteran's Eye Clinic for seven years before completing a medical retina fellowship. Dr. Freeman and his team are committed to providing industry-leading eye care with integrity, hard work, and empathy.
