Dr. Paul Herring

Dr. Paul Herring is a board-certified ophthalmologist and ophthalmic surgeon at Carolina Eyecare Physicians in North Charleston, South Carolina. He specializes in comprehensive ophthalmology with a focus on cataract surgery, laser surgery, refractive surgery, and the management of glaucoma and diabetic eye disease.

Dr. Herring earned his Bachelor of Science degree in microbiology from the University of Florida and received his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. He completed an internship at Greenville Memorial Hospital and a residency at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia, where he served as chief resident.
