Dr. Parley Fillmore

Dr. Parley Fillmore is a board-certified ophthalmologist who has been providing comprehensive eye care to patients in Southern New Mexico since 2009. He is trained in the full spectrum of eye conditions and procedures, including cataract surgery, glaucoma treatment, and corneal surgery. Dr. Fillmore takes a patient-centered approach, ensuring that each individual receives personalized care in a comfortable and welcoming environment.

With an M.D. and a Ph.D. in Pathobiology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Dr. Fillmore brings a deep understanding of eye diseases and their treatments. He completed his internship at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Indianapolis and his ophthalmology residency at the University of Iowa. His commitment to advancing eye care is reflected in his numerous publications and presentations at national and international conferences.

Dr. Fillmore is available to see patients in Alamogordo, Las Cruces, Deming, and Truth or Consequences. He and his wife, Amy, are proud to call Southern New Mexico home and are dedicated to serving the community.
