Dr. Osman Cengiz

Dr. Osman Cengiz is an ophthalmologist with a global perspective, dedicated to providing compassionate eye care. He completed his medical education at Ankara University Medical School and then undertook residency training in Istanbul, gaining broad experience in ophthalmology. He further honed his skills during an 18-month rotation in a vitreoretinal diseases department and served as a comprehensive ophthalmologist in Turkey, performing thousands of sight-restoring procedures.

Dr. Cengiz recently completed a fellowship in Cornea, Cataract, and Refractive Surgery at Albany Medical College/Cornea Consultants of Albany, focusing on advanced surgical techniques. He is a Fellow of the European Board of Ophthalmology, reflecting his commitment to high standards. His clinical interests include cornea and external diseases, cataract surgery, and refractive procedures.

He has volunteered internationally, providing cataract surgery in Sudan to patients with limited access to care. Dr. Cengiz brings a wealth of experience and a passion for service to his patients.
