About Me
Dr. Anna M. Walsh is an ophthalmologist specializing in comprehensive eye care, with advanced fellowship training focused on the cornea and external diseases of the eye. Her medical education was completed at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, followed by an internal medicine internship at the same institution. She refined her surgical and medical eye care skills during an ophthalmology residency at Louisiana State University-Shreveport.
Dr. Walsh further honed her expertise through a cornea fellowship at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her special clinical and research interests include managing cornea and external diseases, advancing patient education in ophthalmology, and investigating conditions such as limbal stem cell deficiency and Fuch’s corneal dystrophy. She also participates in research related to advanced intraocular lens implants, focusing on technologies that can improve vision outcomes for patients.
