About Me
Dr. Osama Al Deyabat is a pediatric and neuro-ophthalmologist who cares for children and adults with complex eye movement and visual pathway disorders. He is drawn to problems that blur the line between the eye and the brain—double vision, unexplained vision loss, and neurologic causes of visual symptoms—and he works closely with families to create plans that are practical, understandable, and evidence-based. His visits emphasize careful examination and clear communication so patients know what to expect and why.
Dr. Al Deyabat completed a pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus fellowship at the University of Illinois Chicago, followed by a neuro-ophthalmology fellowship at Houston Methodist Hospital. He previously finished ophthalmology residency at Jordan University of Science and Technology and medical school at the same institution. His academic work includes publications on optic neuritis and the ocular manifestations of giant cell arteritis. He strives to deliver subspecialty care with the warmth of a small community practice.
