Dr. Osama Al Deyabat

Dr. Shira S. Simon is a neuro-ophthalmologist with Northwestern Medical Group who cares for adults with vision problems that may be related to the brain, optic nerve, or eye movement pathways. She evaluates symptoms such as double vision, unexplained vision loss, and visual field changes, and works closely with patients to pinpoint the cause and create a clear plan. Dr. Simon earned her medical degree at Harvard Medical School. She completed training at Cambridge Health Alliance and finished residency at McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University, followed by fellowship training at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. She is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and serves as an associate professor at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. In visits, Dr. Simon emphasizes careful listening, detailed examination, and straightforward explanations so patients understand their diagnosis and next steps.

Nathaniel E. McIntyre, MD, is a pediatric ophthalmologist who also treats adults with strabismus. At Wheaton Eye Clinic, his practice focuses on the medical and surgical care of childhood eye conditions, including strabismus (misaligned eyes), amblyopia, childhood ptosis, pediatric cataracts, and tear duct obstruction; he also provides examination and treatment for retinopathy of prematurity. Dr. McIntyre received his BS and MS in biology from Purdue University before earning his medical degree at the Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed ophthalmology residency at Indiana University and a fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Dr. McIntyre values communication and education—skills he honed while teaching medical students and residents during training—and he works closely with families to tailor care plans that fit each child’s needs. Away from clinic, he enjoys time with his wife and two daughters and cheers on his favorite teams, reflecting the energy and dedication he brings to his patients’ care.

Dr. Langguth is a pediatric ophthalmologist who cares for children and adults with eye alignment and vision development concerns. Her clinical interests include evaluating and treating strabismus, planning eye muscle surgery when needed, and helping patients with amblyopia management. She completed medical school at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine and then trained in ophthalmology at McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University. She went on to additional fellowship training at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Her work also includes treating complex pediatric eye conditions, including congenital eye infections and pediatric oculoplastic disorders. In visits, Dr. Langguth focuses on careful diagnosis, clear communication, and a step-by-step plan that supports both vision outcomes and day-to-day function.
