About Me
Dr. Andrew J. Levada is a pediatric ophthalmologist who also treats adult eye muscle disorders. He specializes in conditions such as strabismus (misaligned eyes) and amblyopia (lazy eye), and has extensive experience using Botox injections to treat eye muscle problems. Dr. Levada was a founding member of the Pediatric Eye Disease Investigator Group and participated in multi-center clinical trials funded by the National Eye Institute, helping to advance treatments for strabismus and amblyopia.
Throughout his career, Dr. Levada has served as Section Chief of Ophthalmology at St. Mary’s Hospital and as an Associate Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at the Yale Department of Ophthalmology, where he trained residents for many years. He also served as past president of the Connecticut Society of Eye Physicians. Dr. Levada sees patients at The Eye Care Group in Connecticut.
