Dr. Neil Miller

Dr. Neil R. Miller is a neuro-ophthalmology specialist at Johns Hopkins Medicine, where he serves as Professor Emeritus of Ophthalmology. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of complex conditions affecting the optic nerve, orbital tumors, and other neuro-ophthalmic disorders, offering comprehensive care for patients with vision-related neurological issues.

Dr. Miller earned his medical degree from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and completed his ophthalmology residency at the Wilmer Eye Institute, where he served as chief resident. He pursued advanced fellowship training in neuro-ophthalmology at the University of California, San Francisco. A member of the Wilmer faculty since 1976, Dr. Miller brings decades of experience to his practice, with a particular focus on orbital disease and optic nerve pathology.
