About Me
Dr. Neha Serrano is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in medical diseases of the retina and macula. She has a particular clinical interest in age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal vascular diseases, and retinal imaging. Dr. Serrano has presented at several national meetings and is dedicated to staying at the forefront of retinal care to provide her patients with the latest treatments and diagnostic techniques.
Dr. Serrano completed her medical degree at Georgetown University, followed by an internal medicine internship at the University of Chicago Medical Center and an ophthalmology residency at the Georgetown University/Washington Hospital Center program. She then pursued a fellowship in Medical Retina at the Duke Eye Center, which solidified her interest in treating retinal conditions with a holistic approach. Since completing her training, she has been in private practice in Maryland for the past five years, where she is committed to providing excellent patient care and education, ensuring her patients understand their retinal conditions and treatment options.
