Dr. Morohunranti Oguntoye-Ouma

About Me
Dr. Ranti Oguntoye-Ouma is a decorated U.S. Army veteran and board-certified ophthalmologist at Georgia Eye Partners with fellowship training in glaucoma from the Johns Hopkins Wilmer Eye Institute. She specializes in the medical and surgical management of glaucoma and cataract conditions, utilizing advanced techniques including minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS).
Her distinguished military career included service as a flight surgeon with deployment to Afghanistan, along with missions in Qatar, Panama, Kuwait, and South Korea. Dr. Oguntoye-Ouma later served as an attending physician, assistant professor, and glaucoma surgeon at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and directed the Ophthalmology Product Line for the National Capital Region.
From 2022 to 2025, she served as the Lead Ophthalmology Consultant to the White House Medical Unit, advising on complex ocular issues. She has published extensively in ocular trauma and MIGS and received the American Glaucoma Society’s George Spaeth Fellowship, through which she has advanced global glaucoma training in India and Nigeria.
