Dr. Moon Jeong Lee
Ophthalmology – Glaucoma Specialist
About Me
Moon Jeong Lee, MD, is a fellowship-trained glaucoma and cataract surgeon who provides the full spectrum of medical, laser and surgical care for routine and complex glaucoma. She partners with patients to slow disease progression, protect vision and choose the least invasive option that will be effective—ranging from in-office laser treatments to minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) and traditional procedures when appropriate. Dr. Lee also performs cataract surgery and offers combined approaches for people with coexisting cataract and glaucoma. Her academic work explores how vision loss intersects with aging and cognition, and she brings that perspective to personalized care that prioritizes safety, function and quality of life. Dr. Lee sees patients across Johns Hopkins locations and collaborates closely with optometrists and primary eye care providers to ensure smooth comanagement and continuity after surgery.
