Meet Dr. Jonathan Katz

Dr. Jonathan Katz is an ophthalmologist who specializes in the medical and surgical management of glaucoma, including both primary and secondary glaucomatous diseases. He provides comprehensive evaluation and long-term care, and has experience with traditional glaucoma procedures such as trabeculectomy and glaucoma drainage device implantation as well as newer minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS). He also performs cataract surgery and laser vision correction procedures such as LASIK and PRK.

Dr. Katz received his medical degree from the George Washington University School of Medicine, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and graduated with distinction. He completed ophthalmology residency training and a glaucoma fellowship at the Emory Eye Center at Emory University. Dr. Katz joined the Katzen Eye Group in 2019 and focuses on building strong, long-term relationships with patients as they work together to manage glaucoma over time.
