About Me
Dr. Miel Sundararajan is an ophthalmologist who specializes in uveitis, ocular inflammation and diseases of the cornea and ocular surface. She cares for patients with complex inflammatory eye disease, corneal scarring and other conditions affecting the front of the eye, as well as patients needing cataract evaluation and surgery. Dr. Sundararajan earned her medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine, completed an ophthalmology residency at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary and went on to dual fellowship training in uveitis and in cornea at the University of California, San Francisco. She works closely with patients and their other physicians to diagnose the underlying causes of inflammation and to tailor long-term treatment plans that protect vision while minimizing side effects. Patients appreciate her careful examinations, clear explanations and collaborative approach. Dr. Sundararajan is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care that helps people live more comfortably with chronic eye disease.
