Dr. Brian Chou

Dr. Brian Chou is a board-certified neuro-ophthalmologist who cares for adults with complex problems involving the visual pathways and eye movements. He evaluates patients with optic neuropathies, idiopathic intracranial hypertension, nystagmus, double vision and other neurologic conditions that affect how the eyes move and work together. Dr. Chou completed medical school at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, followed by an internal medicine internship at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center and an ophthalmology residency at the University of Washington Department of Ophthalmology. He then pursued fellowship training in neuro-ophthalmology at the University of California, Los Angeles. In clinic, he focuses on listening carefully, explaining findings in clear language and partnering with patients to choose treatments that fit their goals and lifestyles. He performs strabismus surgery and botulinum toxin injections in addition to non-surgical care. Dr. Miel Sundararajan

Dr. Miel Sundararajan is an ophthalmologist who specializes in uveitis, ocular inflammation and diseases of the cornea and ocular surface. Dr. Sundararajan earned her medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine, completed an ophthalmology residency at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary and went on to dual fellowship training in uveitis and in cornea at the University of California, San Francisco. She works closely with patients and their other physicians to diagnose the underlying causes of inflammation and to tailor long-term treatment plans that protect vision while minimizing side effects.
