Dr. Minh Nguyen

Dr. Minh Nguyen is an ophthalmologist who specializes in cornea and external disease, caring for patients with conditions that affect the front of the eye. He treats inflammatory, infectious and degenerative corneal diseases and performs cataract surgery, pterygium surgery, ocular surface tumor excision and a full range of corneal transplants. Dr. Nguyen earned his medical degree at the University of Wisconsin Medical School and completed his internship at Gundersen Medical Foundation. He then completed ophthalmology residency at the University of Washington Department of Ophthalmology and fellowship training in cornea and external disease at the University of California, San Francisco. His approach to care is grounded in treating each person as he would a member of his own family, attending to both medical needs and emotional well-being. Dr. Nguyen strives to explain diagnoses and surgical options in clear language, invite questions and partner with patients through every step of their care.
