Dr. Michael Scanameo is a board-certified ophthalmologist at Desert Vista Eye Specialists in Gilbert, Arizona. He specializes in anterior segment procedures, including advanced cataract surgery. He offers multifocal and Toric lens implants to correct presbyopia and astigmatism.

Dr. Scanameo provides glaucoma surgery, including minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) combined with cataract surgery, as well as standalone stents and filtering bleb procedures. His surgical expertise also includes superficial keratectomy and endothelial keratoplasty (DSEK and DMEK).

Dr. Scanameo is dedicated to delivering high-quality eye care in a professional and approachable manner. He recently relocated from the Midwest to join Desert Vista Eye Specialists.
