Meet Dr. Michael Parsons
About Me
Dr. Michael Parsons is a board-certified ophthalmologist with over a decade of experience, specializing in laser vision correction and refractive surgery. He served as a United States Air Force ophthalmologist, performing more than 6,000 ophthalmic procedures and achieving 20/20 vision or better outcomes in over 95% of cases. His expertise has drawn service members from across the country and around the world for treatment.
Dr. Parsons is a Clinical Associate Professor of Surgery at Wright State University and has been recognized as Ophthalmologist of the Year by the Society of Military Ophthalmology. During his deployment to Afghanistan, he performed over 50 traumatic and humanitarian eye surgeries and served on the President of the United States contingency surgical team. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and a diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology.
