About Me
Dr. Michael Chen is an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology who serves as the Ophthalmology Division Chief at Denver Health Medical Center. He is board certified in Ophthalmology and has specialized fellowship training in Cornea, External Disease, and Refractive Surgery. His clinical focus encompasses the diagnosis and management of corneal conditions, cataract surgery, and comprehensive eye care.
Dr. Chen has published extensively on corneal transplantation, keratoconus, infectious keratitis, and surgical outcomes research. His academic work includes studies on corneal biomechanics, refractive surgery, and global ophthalmology initiatives. Dr. Chen has received multiple teaching and humanism awards for his educational contributions and commitment to patient care.
