Dr. Matthew Sanderson

Dr. Matthew Sanderson is a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained specialist in cornea, refractive, and anterior segment disease. He has decades of experience and has performed tens of thousands of cataract, refractive, and corneal surgeries, focusing on advanced surgical solutions for vision correction.

Dr. Sanderson earned his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College and trained in ophthalmology at New York University. He completed a Cornea, Refractive and Anterior Disease fellowship at the Eye Institute at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Prior to joining ICON Eyecare, he practiced in California and Colorado, working for many years as a cornea, refractive, and cataract surgery specialist.
