Dr. Michael Wong

Dr. Michael Wong is an ophthalmologist with Northwest Eye Surgeons, providing comprehensive eye care and surgical services. His areas of expertise include cataract and lens implantation surgery, minimally invasive glaucoma surgery, and upper eyelid procedures. Dr. Wong joined the practice in 2025 and is dedicated to offering personalized, cutting-edge solutions that enhance vision and quality of life for his patients.

Dr. Wong’s approach to patient care is centered on precision, innovation, and individualized attention. He takes pride in transforming his patients' experiences through advanced surgical techniques and a compassionate bedside manner. His clinical interests also include refractive lens exchange (RLE) and the management of various eye conditions.

Before his medical career, Dr. Wong conducted biophysics research at NASA’s Johnson Space Center, which informs his meticulous and evidence-based approach to ophthalmology. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Pennsylvania Scheie Eye Institute and his medical degree at Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine.
