Dr. Michael Shapiro

Dr. Michael Shapiro is an ophthalmologist and co-founder of Anderson & Shapiro Eye Care. He specializes in cataract surgery, corneal transplantation, and refractive surgery, including LASIK. With extensive experience, Dr. Shapiro has performed thousands of procedures to treat conditions such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism, and glaucoma. He also provides comprehensive eye care, including routine exams and management of eye infections and diseases.

Dr. Shapiro's training includes a fellowship in corneal disease and corneal transplantation at the University of Iowa. He has been involved in pioneering refractive surgery in Wisconsin and has held leadership roles including Chief of Refractive Surgery at TLC Wisconsin Laser Center. His approach focuses on restoring or protecting patients' vision through advanced surgical techniques and co-managed care.
