Dr. Matthew Martin

Dr. Matthew Martin is a Glaucoma Fellow at the UPMC Vision Institute. His current fellowship training focuses on advancing his expertise in the medical and surgical management of glaucoma, a condition that damages the optic nerve and can lead to vision loss.

A native of Michigan, Dr. Martin earned his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine and completed his ophthalmology residency at the Kresge Eye Institute in Detroit. He is part of the Glaucoma Service at UPMC, where he is training to provide specialized care for patients with this sight-threatening eye disease.
