Dr. Matthew Adams

Dr. Murtaza Mandviwala is a board-certified, fellowship-trained vitreoretinal surgeon and the founder of FA Retina in Tomball. A native Houstonian, he graduated with Highest Honors from the University of Texas at Austin and earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch, where he was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha. He completed ophthalmology residency as chief resident at the Medical College of Wisconsin, then advanced fellowship training in vitreoretinal surgery at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Mandviwala provides evidence-based medical and surgical care for retinal diseases, with particular interest in age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachments, macular holes and epiretinal membranes, retinal tears, and complex lens-related issues. Patients can expect thoughtful explanations, timely treatment, and a commitment to bringing world-class retina care to the community where he grew up.

Dr. Sepehr Bahadorani is a retina specialist who provides comprehensive medical and surgical care for diseases of the vitreous and retina. He treats diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, retinal tears and detachments, and complications such as macular holes and epiretinal membranes. His practice emphasizes advanced imaging, timely intervention, and clear communication with patients and referring optometrists and ophthalmologists. Dr. Bahadorani received his MD from Wayne State University School of Medicine, then completed ophthalmology residency training at the University of Florida and UT Health San Antonio. He subsequently pursued advanced training at UT Health San Antonio. Fluent in English and Farsi, he is committed to culturally responsive care and to educating patients about their condition and recovery. He tailors treatment plans to each patient’s needs, focusing on preserving vision and maintaining independence.

Dr. Musa Abdelaziz is a board-certified vitreoretinal surgeon and ocular oncologist at Retina Center of Texas. He performs the latest surgical techniques to repair retinal detachments, macular holes, epiretinal membranes, diabetic tractional detachments, and other complex vitreoretinal diseases, and provides advanced medical therapy for macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, vascular occlusions, uveitis, and more. He also treats uveal melanoma and other intraocular tumors. Patients know him for thorough explanations and steady surgical skill. Dr. Abdelaziz graduated magna cum laude from Washington University in St. Louis, earned his MD at Washington University School of Medicine, completed ophthalmology residency at University Hospitals/Case Western (chief resident), vitreoretinal fellowship with Georgetown University/Retina Group of Washington, and an ocular oncology fellowship at UCSF. He joined RCT in 2020 and remains active in research and education.
