Meet Dr. Matthew Kenneth Adams

Matthew Adams, MD, MBA, is a vitreoretinal surgeon who cares for patients with macular, retinal, and vitreous disease. He treats age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal vein occlusions, retinal detachments, and complex macular disorders, offering medical therapies, retinal lasers, and advanced micro-incision surgery. Dr. Adams explains findings in clear, practical terms and designs care plans that align with each patient’s vision goals and daily life.

A Texas native, Dr. Adams trained at Baylor College of Medicine and completed retina fellowship at Mayo Clinic. He is board certified in ophthalmology and participates in clinical research and trials aimed at improving outcomes in retinal disease. Outside the clinic, he remains active in professional societies and medical education.
