Dr. Jason Chien

Dr. Jason Chien is a medical and surgical retina specialist and the founder of Prestige Retina in Allen, Texas. He provides advanced care for the full spectrum of vitreoretinal conditions and tailors recommendations to each patient’s goals and lifestyle. Dr. Chien is fellowship trained in vitreoretinal diseases and surgery and welcomes new patients from Allen and the greater North Dallas communities. He is also fluent in Mandarin.

Dr. Chien earned his MD from the George Washington University School of Medicine and completed ophthalmology residency at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medicine. He then pursued fellowship training in vitreoretinal disease and surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center. His practice offers state-of-the-art diagnostics and treatments, including in-office therapies and complex surgical repair, with an emphasis on clear communication and shared decision-making so patients feel informed and confident at every step.
