About Me
Dr. Mary W. Tam, MD is an ophthalmologist specializing in cornea, cataract, refractive surgery, and minimally invasive glaucoma procedures. She offers comprehensive medical and surgical care—from laser vision correction to advanced cataract options—while emphasizing long-term eye health and clear, collaborative decision-making.
Dr. Tam completed a fellowship in Cornea, Cataract, External Disease, and Keratorefractive Surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. She trained in ophthalmology at Stony Brook, where she served as chief resident, after an internship at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. Her medical degree and a master’s in biomedical sciences were completed at Tufts University School of Medicine, and she earned her undergraduate degree in Psychobiology from UCLA.
