Dr. Martin Kaplan

Dr. Kaplan is an ophthalmologist at Southdale Eye Clinic with over forty years of experience in comprehensive ophthalmology and ophthalmic surgery. He currently focuses on medical ophthalmology, evaluating and managing medical eye diseases while referring surgical cases to his partners and providing aftercare for his patients. He treats conditions such as glaucoma and cataracts through medical management, and provides comprehensive eye examinations.

Dr. Kaplan earned his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Minnesota, completed an internship at UCLA Harbor General Hospital, and received ophthalmology training at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia. He is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. His dedication to the field has been recognized with the Outstanding Achievement Award from the University of Minnesota Department of Ophthalmology and the Budd Appleton Award from the Minnesota Academy of Ophthalmology.
