About Me
Dr. Mark S. Jacobson is an ophthalmologist at OcuSight Eye Care Center's Brighton office in Rochester, New York. He provides a range of surgical and medical eye care services, including cataract surgery with presbyopia correction using premium intraocular lenses, corneal surgery, glaucoma management and surgery, diabetic exams and laser surgery, and comprehensive eye exams. He treats conditions such as cataracts, diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, and macular degeneration.
Dr. Jacobson completed his medical degree at the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine. He served an internship in internal medicine at Millard Fillmore Hospital in Buffalo, New York, and completed his ophthalmology residency at the Louisiana State University Eye Center in New Orleans, where he was Chief Resident from 1996 to 1997. He is board certified in ophthalmology and holds professional affiliations with the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and the New York State Ophthalmology Society. Additionally, he serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Rochester Medical Center.
