About Me

Dr. Mark L. Arey is a board-certified ophthalmologist who has been providing eye care to patients in the North Tampa area since 2008. He completed a fellowship in cornea and external disease as well as keratorefractive surgery, which allows him to specialize in conditions of the cornea and perform advanced refractive procedures.

Dr. Arey's clinical focus includes the management of corneal diseases, cataract surgery, and laser vision correction. He is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.

Outside of his practice, Dr. Arey is actively involved in the community, coaching youth sports and holding a coaching license with the US Soccer Federation.
