Dr. Mark Mifflin

Mark D. Mifflin is a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained cornea, cataract, and refractive surgeon with over 20 years of clinical experience. He specializes in complex cataract surgery, all forms of corneal transplantation, reconstructive surgery of the anterior segment of the eye, and vision correction procedures such as LASIK, PRK, and intraocular lens implants. Dr. Mifflin is known for his thorough, patient-centered approach and takes time to explain conditions and treatment options clearly.

Dr. Mifflin serves as the Division Chief for Cornea and Refractive Surgery and directs the Cornea Fellowship at the Moran Eye Center. He also has a long-standing role as Medical Director of the Utah Lions Eye Bank. He is fluent in English and Spanish, allowing him to communicate effectively with a diverse patient population.
