Meet Dr. Nishika Muddasani Reddy

Dr. Nishika M. Reddy practices comprehensive ophthalmology at the John A. Moran Eye Center. She specializes in corneal and external eye diseases, with a particular focus on diagnosing and treating dry eye. Patients see her for everything from routine exams to evaluation of red, irritated, or light-sensitive eyes, and they value her clear explanations and practical treatment plans tailored to daily life.

Dr. Reddy completed a combined six-year BA/MD program at the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Medicine, followed by ophthalmology residency at Tulane University School of Medicine and fellowship training in cornea and external disease at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. Before joining Moran, she practiced in Dayton, Ohio, and helped organize free eye clinics for uninsured patients. In every visit she emphasizes comfort, education, and shared decision-making so people understand their options and feel confident caring for their eyes over time.
