Dr. Mark Barsamian

Dr. Mark D. Barsamian is a board-certified ophthalmologist and vitreoretinal specialist with over 20 years of experience. He is renowned for his expertise in the medical and surgical treatment of retinal disorders, providing comprehensive care for a range of complex retinal conditions. Dr. Barsamian is affiliated with UMass Memorial Medical Center and holds clinical appointments at the Lifespan Hospital System and UMass Memorial Healthcare System.

Dr. Barsamian completed his medical degree from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University and a two-year surgical fellowship in vitreoretinal surgery at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. He remains actively involved in professional organizations and contributes to medical education as a Clinical Instructor of Surgery at Brown University. Beyond his practice, he enjoys cycling and spending time with his family.
