About Me
Dr. Mark Stradling is a compassionate ophthalmologist and cataract surgeon who provides comprehensive eye disease support to patients at Mohave Eye Center’s Bullhead City and Kingman offices. A seasoned eye care provider fluent in Spanish, he brings 15 years of experience to his practice. His award-winning care encompasses ocular disease treatment and ophthalmic surgeries, and he loves working with patients to help them achieve a better quality of life.
Born and raised in Arizona, Dr. Stradling received dual degrees in biochemistry and Spanish from the University of Arizona. He earned his medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his internship and ophthalmology residency at Valley Hospital in Las Vegas, where he became chief resident and chair‑elect for the Council of Residents and Fellow. He served as a clinical trainer in the Valley Hospital Ophthalmology Resident Program and received top honors from the American Osteopathic College of Ophthalmology/Otolaryngology‑Head and Neck Surgery for his work on a clinical study concerning medications used during cataract surgery.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Stradling lives an active life in Henderson, Nevada, with his wife and children. He is a local church leader and an active volunteer with Tzu Chi, providing pro bono eye exams to underprivileged children and adults. He also enjoys sports, hiking, and devotional reading.
