Dr. Maria Martinez Lehmann

Dr. Patricia Martinez Lehmann is a board-certified comprehensive ophthalmologist and eye surgeon who provides attentive, personalized eye care for patients of all ages. She cares for patients at multiple convenient locations in Hatboro, Trappe/Collegeville, North Wales, and Penndel, Pennsylvania, making it easier for individuals and families to access high-quality specialty care close to home. Originally from Spain, she brings more than a decade of comprehensive eye care experience from her work as an ophthalmologist in Barcelona, and she is fluent in both English and Spanish to help patients feel understood and supported throughout their visits.

After practicing ophthalmology in Barcelona for 10 years, she moved to the United States in 2010 and completed a one-year glaucoma research fellowship at Wills Eye Hospital. She then completed four additional years of ophthalmology residency at Drexel University/Hahnemann Hospital in Philadelphia and the West Virginia University Eye Institute in Morgantown. This multi-institution training has strengthened her expertise in medical and surgical eye care.

Her clinical expertise includes cataract surgery, glaucoma management, laser treatments, dry eye management, and the medical management of retinal conditions. She is dedicated to delivering compassionate, individualized treatment plans for every patient, with the goal of helping patients understand their options and protect their vision.
