Dr. Maria Braun

Dr. Maria Braun is a board-certified comprehensive ophthalmologist with over fifteen years of experience providing outstanding eye care to the Los Angeles community. She currently practices at the Santa Monica Eye Medical Group, having previously maintained her own private practice in Beverly Hills. Dr. Braun cares for patients with a wide range of eye conditions and performs general ophthalmology procedures.

Dr. Braun completed her ophthalmology residency at Stanford University following her medical doctorate from the University of Virginia and undergraduate degree in molecular biology from Princeton University. She is an active scholar, having published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals and co-authored chapters in ophthalmology textbooks.
