Dr. Marcus Solomon

Dr. Marcus Solomon is a retina specialist at Tennessee Retina in Nashville. He treats a range of retinal conditions, including macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachments, vitreous hemorrhage, macular holes, and retinal tears.

Dr. Solomon completed his fellowship in vitreoretinal surgery at the University of Illinois in Chicago, where he also served as chief resident. He practiced in the Chicago area for 14 years before relocating to Nashville in 2009. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and a member of the American Society of Retinal Surgeons and the American Society of Vitreoretinal Specialists.

Outside of his clinical practice, Dr. Solomon is active in professional organizations such as the Nashville Academy of Ophthalmology.
