Dr. Marc Young

Dr. Mark Young is a general ophthalmologist practicing in Omaha, Nebraska. He attended medical school at the University of Nebraska College of Medicine and completed his residency in ophthalmology at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Dr. Young is board certified in ophthalmology and has been a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology since 1995. He has extensive experience in anterior segment surgery.

Dr. Young performs LASIK surgery using advanced technology such as Wavescan for Customvue LASIK, and he has been performing LASIK since its FDA approval in 1996. He also offers bladeless, no-stitch cataract surgery with the option of multifocal lenses to reduce dependence on glasses. In addition, Dr. Young performs glaucoma filtering surgery, pterygium surgery, eyelid plastic surgery, and laser treatments for after-cataracts and glaucoma. He continues to participate in continuing education programs to stay current in the field.
