About Me
Dr. Townley is a board-certified comprehensive ophthalmologist who has been in private practice since 1993. He provides a personalized approach to the medical and surgical management of a wide range of eye conditions for patients of all ages.
Dr. Townley has a special emphasis in cataract surgery and was one of the first in the area to offer no-stitch, no-shot, micro-incision cataract surgery with multifocal lens implants. His practice also includes laser vision correction (LASIK), glaucoma surgery, and eyelid surgery. He continues to invest in the latest technology and procedural advances to offer the highest level of care.
Beyond his practice, Dr. Townley volunteers medical and surgical eye care locally and internationally, and serves as an educator for medical students and resident physicians at Creighton University Medical Center and the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
