Dr. Marc Weitzman

Dr. Weitzman is a fellowship-trained glaucoma specialist at Ophthalmic Surgeons of Greater Bridgeport, providing advanced medical, laser, and surgical care for patients with glaucoma. He joined the practice in 1998 and brings extensive expertise gained through a rigorous glaucoma fellowship at Yale University School of Medicine, where he later served on faculty as a glaucoma specialist and director of the ophthalmology residency program.

Dr. Weitzman graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the State University of New York at Albany and earned his medical degree from SUNY Buffalo, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. He completed his ophthalmology residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York before pursuing his subspecialty training at Yale.

Board certified and a member of the American Glaucoma Society, Dr. Weitzman has lectured at numerous national and international conferences, sharing his knowledge of glaucoma diagnosis and treatment with fellow ophthalmologists.
