Dr. Luke Zhu

Luke Zhu, MD, is a board-certified comprehensive ophthalmologist at Texan Eye Care. He provides full-scope medical and surgical eye care and has particular interest in cataract surgery, refractive procedures, and minor eyelid procedures. Dr. Zhu completed undergraduate studies in neurobiology at The University of Texas at Austin, earned his medical degree at UT Southwestern Medical Center, and finished internship and ophthalmology residency at LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. He prioritizes a comfortable, efficient visit and takes time to explain testing, lens choices, and expected recovery so patients can make informed decisions.
