Dr. Lisa Faia

Dr. Lisa J. Faia is a board-certified, fellowship-trained ophthalmologist at Associated Retinal Consultants in southeastern Michigan. She specializes in the surgical and medical management of uveitis, as well as vitreoretinal diseases including diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and retinal vein occlusions.

Dr. Faia earned her medical degree from the Keck School of Medicine of USC and completed her ophthalmology residency at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine. She pursued advanced fellowship training in uveitis and medical retina at the National Eye Institute and a fellowship in vitreoretinal diseases and surgery at Associated Retinal Consultants. She actively participates in clinical research and has presented nationally and internationally on uveitis and retinal topics.

Dr. Faia is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Retina Specialists, and remains involved in studies advancing the treatment of uveitic and vitreoretinal diseases.
