Dr. Letitia Pirau

Dr. Letitia Pirau provides neuro-ophthalmology care, helping patients understand vision problems that can be related to the brain, nerves, or eye movement systems. She evaluates symptoms such as double vision, optic nerve inflammation, and other neurologic conditions that may affect sight, and she works with patients to clarify what testing is needed and what treatment options are available.

Dr. Pirau completed medical school at California Northstate University, followed by neurology residency training at the University of Michigan. She then completed a neuro-ophthalmology fellowship at MichMed. Her clinical interests include conditions such as diplopia (double vision), optic neuritis, optic atrophy, idiopathic intracranial hypertension, and eyelid spasms.
